Well my Ebay order from Alfa 1750 turned out to be a bust. Ordered 2 needle and seat's. And it only took 19 days to get to me and only had one in the package.... what a bummer but that's what we get when you run "exotic" carbs I guess. I heard back and was told another would be sent right away. I asked for rush delivery but I expect the 19 day version.

Should have put my quantity in Roman numerals. I actually ordered through Ebay and my packing slip says 2. But hey it's just more waiting. Would have been nice to tear into it over these nice days we are having now. They want to make it right like you said. The prices are amazing compared to overseas auto.

Finally recieved my 2nd needle and seat direct from Italy so 40 days later I'm ready to give them a try.

I set the floats to spec at least I hope I did. emulsion tubes and main jet Air jet Idle jets Back together ready to put on the manifolds and add stacks This is a interesting comparison of the port work. The stock port and wedge port. Now it's time to get these back on the car, which is not a fun task takes about an hour for me to get them back on. I hope to test it out just in time put it up for winter. Now going to get some Turkey Dinner

So I went out and reinstalled my carbs after the last round of tweaking. I had my usual issues with the #3 side intake nut but after about 20 minutes both carbs were on and fuel and linkage were hooked back up. I flipped the fuel pump switch and checked fuel pressure and for leaks. That was all good, so 2 pumps of the pedal and it fired right up. After it warmed up a bit I checked the sync with the flow meter. The right side was a little fast so I backed it down a bit and it is now running pretty smooth. No drips or trickles and it's not dumping fuel during deceleration. Just in time for winter and expiration of insurance. I may just go re up for one more month. Thanks Mitchy, for some excellent advice, you were right on the mark.
