Didn't catch the year of this late '50's early '60's Beetle. The green one in the background is quite interesting and will be discussed later...
This is that very original '62 from up island, but I was unable to talk to the owner this time.
I meant to further inspect this nice early big window sunroof as well. Loved the colour.
This is that former ICBC calendar 1966 Beetle in Sea Blue.
White '65-"66.
Believe that is Shawn's '62.
Don't remember seeing this one before.
This '65 is clean.
The safari thing doesn't do it for me. To each his own...
Finally a car that those pinky Parks license plates look good on.
The mighty Mitchmobile, a '67. Some non VW people that were there, just couldn't figure out his massive muffler.
The above was a nicely restored '70, and given this model was my first car, I had to take extra photos.
Think this was a '71.
This split had many drooling.
This was a '54 and was very nice.
Oval which represents the "scene" as it is for some.
You seldom see a Super on Fuchs replicas.
A Glacier Blue '58.
Porsche dials hinted at something bigger than a 36'er...
As the deck lid remained firmly closed, we can only guess. In case you have not figured it out, I once owned a Glacier Blue '58, and wish I could have kept it and restored it to original. And why is that Toyota MR2 in the background? I am assuming it was the seats redone in Westfalia print fabric...
One of several Supers in attendance.
A Sea Blue '65 or '66 Sunroof.
Vert on Empi 8-spokes.
Still like this "in yer face" colour on this special edition late model.
Another Super, and for sale if you are into that sort of thing...
I really liked this Beetle. Very clean and tidy, this is a Mexican 1994 Beetle. The owner had just moved here, and brought his Bug with him. Still on Mexican plates, too!
This is a '74, and is highly original including those funky dealer applied graphics. An occasional customer at the shop too.
Another '70 Beetle. More to come...
