Here are my very random pics of Volksfest 2019. The rain meant that we bus owners had an excuse to hang out inside with other Volkswagen enthusiasts. I also got to test out my vintage awning in a steady rain.
Above: The bus bookmobile, apologies for missing their signage.
Doppelganger alert! Not mine, I liked the upholstery and other finishings on this Salt Spring bus which is for sale.

Fine tuning my awning which performed quite well for the vintage technology, this is a 1970's Jeune's Tent and Awning custom job!
Purchased from the original owner in the Okanagan with only 58,000 miles!!! It's a '74 Safare camper as Russ mentioned earlier.
Would you believe this Aussie Vanagon Syncro is powered by a Ford Focus Ztec engine that produces 120 horse power?
One of our lucky club members, who's name escapes me, bought this amazing re manufactured tent, I think Jeune's matched the fabric etc.
I manage to get a paparazzi of WCP at work as a judge...
Rear view of the Safare!
Watching that awning in the breeze, it didn't blow over...
This is a 1968 Westfalia owned by Jerome from the mainland...

We were lucky enough to have shelter during the rain, and it rained quite a lot...
I think Russ has a shot entering the show, this is exiting during the rain, thanks folks, or should I say volks?
