For more than a decade, I have been associated with this informal club and have become friends with many VW enthusiasts from one end of this island to the other.
The vast majority of people within this VW community have always been supportive and respectful of each other. There seems to exist a willingness to help each other in any way possible, through donating time, sharing tips, helpful suggestions or sourcing out varies new and used parts and services to keep our beloved VW vehicles alive and well.
I personally have been involved in this way for many years, both as a giver and as a grateful receiver. That being said, it has recently come to my attention that I owe
a very humble apology. There are apparently rumors circulating around within our local group, that I have been conducting myself in a very underhanded manner, and been ripping off people by over-charging for various parts that I've sold. It is being suggested that people in this VW community should avoid at all cost, any interaction with me now or in the future.
To say that these rumors and gossip is upsetting to me, would have to be the understatement of this past decade. So in an honest effort to clear the air, openly, and for the benefit of all present and future members of this VW enthusiasts community, I ask that anyone with a grievance about my dealings or interactions, please state your situation on this thread. It is my only intention to rectify any wrong doings and offer my sincere apologies. Nothing more nothing less.
In the past, a similar situation of rumors and behind the back accusations, caused the dissolution of our original club and the formation of this new one. In the interest of not allowing history to repeat itself, I am putting this out publicly and hope that everyone will take the opportunity to voice their opinions.
