I think that is the '67 that lives down the hill from me. If it is the one that I am thinking of it lives off Breonna or Bayshore. It is a really nice one!

I couldn't find one of these, so here we are. Perhaps Don can make it sticky so that others can add to it? Spotted this beautiful old bug on the ferry as I was returning home from work. It was a '57 and it now lives in Vancouver. Apparently it spent 10 years in the previous owner's garage and prior to that several years off the road in the previous previous owner's garage. It sat off the road for a total of 26 years. The owner said that it was an Oregan car. This is the sort of patina that I could live with. None of that fake sanded off rusty look. This just looked genuinely used - and he said he drives it daily! It was running stock wheels with whitewall flaps. I really liked this car. Attachments:

I forgot to mention that he said it was still running on it's original motor. I would be very happy with this sat in my garage. Sadly, I don't think my wife would be - happy wife, happy life right?

It was in the Forum Improvement Section for some reason, Mark. I merged the threads and made them a sticky as per your suggestion. Saw these on my Edmonton trip a couple of months ago Look what is sitting to the right And seen at the end of summer around in south Nanaimo, headed north

I also saw that oval in around September time. It was heading north through Ladysmith near Transfer Beach. I was driving south and was the only one in the car, so no photo's from me - sorry! I found a late-ish looking Bay lying apparantly unused on Gabriola a few days ago. Army green and in pretty much the same location on someone's property as when I last saw it in the summer - it looks abandoned. The hippy painted cross over bay is also still sat outside of the Gabriola museum on South Road in Gabriola. Quite rusty and the original camping interior is long gone. I'll try to remember to snap a photo sometime when I am passing.
