moved it to proper thread I merged the two threads. I guess due to the timeline, it wouldn't let me put the picture at the top.

Let's see, Brent had a Chevy, a Ford, and Dodge parts in the Ford. Sounds like no bias there... I have an old Chevrolet truck as well. It is hard to beat an old pickup for hauling around vintage VW parts. My '69 Chev has been in my ownership for 21 years. Dad had it for 25 years before that. I have never known life without this truck and there is NO chance I will ever sell it. Someday I hope to fix it all up nice again as it really deserves it after 46 years of reliable service. Nostalgia is a powerful reason for keeping things like this and I am sure is a strong reason for many of us to enjoy our vintage VWs.

There is an old truck running around town called "Old Yellar". It is a beige yellow colour - saw it today on Rutherford hill and have seen it a few times in the North end. I am not at all familiar with these vehicles, but I am fairly certain that the front had Dodge on it. The tailgate was definitely Ford - it said so! There was a spare tyre mounted vertically on the left side of the rear bed. The truck looks to be in really nice order. Sorry, I wasn't able to get a photo, because I was driving at the time. I don't know the year, but if I had to guess I'd place it in the sixties. I think that it had a chrome grill though.

There is a '60's Ford truck that matches that description that I have seen around for years. I think it advertises a bed and breakfast and I have seen it many times parked on Fillinger Crescent.

The b&b's is a later model, twin I-Beam, long box. As for mark, the only digde parts were under the hood. Engine, and front suspension, were cut out of a dodge, and welded into ford frame. Giving it a torsion bar suspension, front disc brakes, and tilt steering.
