Are you taking the Restfalia? Wifey demands air conditioning. Taking the mighty FJ Cruiser Gas Hog. Given the temps in the interior are forecast in the high thirties, the AC is kind of mandatory. The passing power will be nice too... I remember my parents drove through the Rockies in their 1973 Westfalia with my little brother in the early 80s. This was quite normal back in the day. He said the only real issue he had was overheating in the Interior. After a stop at a garage and a talk with a mechanic it apparently resolved itself. I'm still driving that original motor, just not licensed right now.

Well, we headed south to the Lake Cow/Port Renfrew hwy. It's all paved! It was hard to remember spots, as last time I drove it, it was gravel. We headed to a lil spot, hidden 4.5 km's off the main road. We camped righ along the San Juan River. Find ourselves a parking spot .... Holy freakin huge trees .. A trip into Port Renfrew .... and good ole Rob, whittling away in his bow ....

That last picture.....has rob had too much.....sun? There are so many nice spots to camp along that road. Ya just got to be a bit adventurous.
