Dood, that was just the tip of the iceberg ... 150 kms shy of 4000 this year. Traveled as Far East as North Battleford Sask, thru the Columbia Icefields via Jasper to Banff, then back thru the Okanagon.
Come to our next meeting and we can share some of the trails and tribulations of traveling in a 35 year old bus ...

Cool, I remember my Dad telling me how his '73 Westfalia overheated coming into Armstrong B.C. in the early 80s. He sought the advice of a local mechanic, in the end I think they just let it cool down then continued on their way. I have that bus now, factory original motor that (to my knowledge) has never been taken apart, except for the carbs. Back in the day he never missed a valve adjustment, tune-up, or an oil change.
