Back in the day Brosol pumps worked just fine. Who knows if that is really made by them, or just a re-branded something else...

Are you running a generator or altenator Brent?
The tipped one Altenator type ran when parked. The generator type is condition unknown.
I can bring them Tuesday to the meeting if you want to try them out.
Cheers

unless some sort of inertia switch is installed. Those inertia switches are available from any auto wrecker for minimal cost. They were installed in the millions in 80s and 90s ford sedans in the rear drivers side trunk area. They consist of a small (1" x1") black plastic box with a red push button on top and two wires coming out of the back. They have a small cone inside with a metal ball bearing in it, which jumps up in the event of a collision and hits a micro switch at the top of the cone shutting off power. The red push button resets the micro switch if you are in the habit of jumping over rivers a-la-dukes of hazard style. I've got one in Betsy wired in the hot wire going to the electric american fuel pump. As a matter of fact I've had one in all 3 of my previous Westys. Stan

Hi Clay - looking for a couple of things for '71 bus : mud flaps and rear bumper splash pans ( think that's what they're called} . I hope to be visiting family in your area this week , let me know if you have either these parts and I'll get in touch.

Bob Hey Bob...no mud flaps, but if you can send me a picture of what the splash pans look like I'll check on those.
Yes, limited Bus parts unfortunately, but I do have some and just picked up a small collection of bits and bites along with some Type III/IV interior smalls. Anyone need gauges?
Go Bug Guys! :-D

Hi Clay. Did you say you have some Type 3 interior stuff? One thing I do need for the fastback is the correct 1969 era under-dash radio mounting. I will try to dig up a picture of what it looks like if you think you might have something like that...
