" A must-see for die-hard dubbers" Something to keep you amused as the air-cooled VWs head to storage for the winter: "Most visitors to Wolfsburg, Germany, will see the fantastic car museum at the Autostadt, but relatively few will take the two-minute drive to one of the country’s hidden gems, the Volkswagen AutoMuseum" www.automobilemag.com/news/volkswagen-automuseum-top-20-cars/

I believe Mr. Don has posted a few of his pics from there. That place would be amazing, but I've only ever been to the train stations or the airports in Germany. Not sure why, but I have failed to properly tour the country. Probably because Amsterdam is only a train ride away. :-)

I've been there too. It's fantastic. Everything from Kubelwagens to early barndoors, to waterpumpers, 4 door police bugs, prototypes, the whole nine yards. Well worth a visit (and easy to get to from the train station😉. Oddly I travelled to Wolfsburg by train from Amsterdam where I was on a course for work)
