I found this place years ago while exploring the back roads behind Sproat Lake in my Jeep I always looked for little side roads to excursion down, in hopes Id find a secret little hide away This is one of those spots. 6 small campsites, with 2 of them on the beach, over lookin the ocean Its pretty special, ask Rob! He heard and saw small Killer Whales there ...... Here's a cool pic that caused me to remember this spot. A lot of cool things in it.

So, this "secret place" is a good 1/2 hour - 45 min drive down some dusty ole loggin' roads. It on the Port Alberni inlet, but on the north side, so you have to cross the Sumass and find your way in Theres some residential but you soon stumble on logging roads. Find the main one to Mac Tush ? I cant recall, but 19 mile seems to ring a bell. Theres markers along the road. Ya gotta keep your eyes peeled, and be sharp, cause if ya miss it, you end up in Korea

We've been there a few times. I think we ran into some locals once, usually have the whole place to yourself. This is where I started wanting a minibike to ride. I wanted to explore more but not have to distrub camp a boat would be nice too. Hmmm, maybe an Inflatable. Zodiac?
