High Top Rob and I are headed up island to explore our West coast. If you've never heard of it, it's with a Google search to check out the pics. I'll post pics when we return. Fingers crossed, no break downs!

Cape Scott Park is quite the place. I have been to SJB twice, once by helicopter to pick up a van which was my transportation back to civilization after 2 months on Triangle Island, and once by my old 69 Merc truck to start our hike out to the north coast. Poured rain like crazy that time and the hike was a slog thru mud, taking MUCH longer than the hiking books said. Have fun, and yes, NO BREAK-DOWNS!

Well I'm back from an awesome time at San Josef bay. The beach is unbelievable!! The hike in and out for this old guy was slooow hahahaha but went really good just a little sore afterwards lol. The campsite was huge and at no cost. My bus handled the 3 hours of rough logging roads quite well, better than I did listening for every little odd noise hahahaha. Brent is up there for another couple three days so I'm sure he'll chime in when he's back. Awesome place!!!!!!!

yup, it was freakin' amazin'. went and picked up Rob semi early, friday am, and we hit the road. HTR had a plan, so I followed along, toy huntin and a quick visit with Stude we helped Terry pull this from his crawl space in the house we headed out with a few goodies (thanx again Terry) and headed north. another toy stop and robbie scored something for alltypes. we decided to drive north to a few prearranged stops. it was too early for Sayward, so we headed to Woss. stupid me suggested headin' to nimpkish lake, as Id already been to the Woss one. well, i missed the turn off, which was only 20 km down the road. so we said screw it, lets find some where. anywhere #homeiswhereyouparkit . a simple pull out on a ny loggin road will do. a nice dinner, some good bullshittin' , a fire and we were campin'. left fairly early, just south of Port McNiel, so we stopped for a quick breaky and were off to Port Hardy to shop and fuel up. them the adventure starts to get fun. cruisin' down loggin roads at break neck speeds (20-40 kms) lol. even met a cool couple from Vic. just under two hours and we found the park

Crap, the trees, the forest, the slience, was epic. and we havent even been to the beach. Sunday we headed to the beach. The trail was amazing. Mother nature sure was an artist up there the beach was awesome. we both stood there for a bit in awe. then we walked .... yup, HTR is in that last pic we got near the far end of the beach, and around the corner, we both kinda stood there in awe definately a magical place.
