wanted dual port 1600cc cylinder tins

Hello, I have a B case 1970 1600 single port I'm rebuilding and going to dual port heads. I'm looking for cylinder tins for a dual port 1600. Also looking for the two intake heat riser covers that mount to the cylinder tins and rear engine tin. If people are into part numbers, these covers are 211 119 577 and 578.

A question also, does the single port fan housing fit on the dual port cylinder tins? If not then I would need a dual port dog house style fan housing. I was planning on using the 1970 style oil cooler, not the '71 later cooler that uses the dog house if possible.

single port housing will fit dual port head tins, dual port fan is 3mm wider. remember that vw updated the design for a good reason. I have the head tins will have to look for the riser covers.

I hear what your saying about the bigger fan and dog house cooler, I'm going to check my pile of fans and see if I have any late ones, but I know I don't have any of the dog house cooler tin work

Curious if there would be original used parts out there to convert from old style oil cooler to the dog house style. I would buy a new cooler but used firewall tin, fan housing with dog house and 35mm fan, intermediate flange for oil cooler(113 117 301), and sealing frame( hoover bit 113 117321).

I know this is all available new just not sure of the quality vs. the original used stuff...

The "new" quality will not be anywhere near as nice as the original German parts... As always...
