heres another one for Russ.http://www.jettauction.com/1965%20CHEVROLET%20CORVAIR%20CORSA%20%20%20P004436.htm has video of engine run.gotta corner the market. Yes I know of that car. At no reserve, someone might be getting a deal. Was previously listed for sale multiple times around $17,000 dollars if I remember correctly. I don't need any more cars. Well at the moment, anyway...

Yeah, it was part of an auction in Duncan a few months ago but the purchaser bailed for whatever reason (possibly buyer's fees). The owner's widow had it for sale locally, and I've seen it out at a couple car gatherings here too. It's a good looking car in pretty decent condition...definitely potential for someone to get a decent deal on it.

Asking is $17,985. Odd number. That grill has a certain Alfa Romeo feel to it.

With those seats, it's likely a 1969 model. The 68 had integrated headrests and the seat runners changed for the 69 model year, so they are not interchangeable. However, there's something "wrong" with the seat upholstery. The pleats in the backrest should go higher and IIRC correctly, should be vertical. I believe that either they've been redone, or they are bastardised 72 - 74 seats.
The "Alpha" grill usually indicates nose damage. They bolt through the nose panel, so at the very least there will be holes drilled through the sheet metal.

Did someone on the forum buy the yellow 1969 Ghia? I stopped by to take a look at it on Thursday, liked what I saw and contacted the seller only to find out it had been sold a few hours previously. It was extremely solid and rust free. It looked way better in person than in the photos.

It looked way better in person than in the photos. Not a common occurrence! Too bad you missed out. I think there is a green vert in Nanaimo for a bit more cash. Unfortunately an autostick
or there is a 1969 in Richmond with no nostrils for $19K, recently marked down...

If I had the funds, it would already be mine. A split I can modify into a driver, with no guilt? Ugh.
