Hi: Retired geezer in Parksville here looking for steel wheels (4 or 5) for my Frazer Nash replica kit car (1934 English race car) which uses 1966 VW beetle chassis and running gear. Also possibly a steering box and front and rear drums.
I bought and took the car apart to restore 25 years ago and am now getting it back together. Lots of unidentifiable, rusty, greasy parts in cans. Luckily I bought a lot of parts 25 years ago which were a lot cheaper then.
We also used to have an 1952 MGTD VW based kit car that was lots of fun. Anybody else have a kit car?

Hi Rus,
Check out 1hotvw's offer. Then, call me about kit cars: I've got 2 dune buggies that I'm building. I'm in Parksville: 250-248-6200. Ask for John.

Hi: Thanks for your reply about the parts. What would you want for the wheels? My car has a weird wheel setup with modified 30's Ford spoke wheels which means the drums have a spacer on them to make the wheels fit tight to the drum. The drums are drilled for the Ford pattern and the bolts are welded to the drums and i'm concerned that if I need new drums (which is likely) it would cost a lot to have new drums machined for my current wheels.

you got a pic of the drum. i cant see some one welding wheel bolts. are you sure their not studs pressed from the back and maybe tacked only. what you describe would be unsafe to drive.
