Hi newbie here: I have a 1600 dual port with a 3/4 race cam that has sat for 17 years and never run after being rebuilt.
I know enough to be dangerous with tools so thanks Reagh, Rob, and Russ (the one that knows his stuff) for helping me so far.
It turns out that I have ball foot swivel valve adjusters (similar to or the same as CIP1 ACC-C10-5240) to go with the cam but I don’t know what the gap should be. Anybody know?
Thanks Russ (not the one who knows his stuff)

Really depends on your pushrod composition, steel set at zero lash and aluminum st at 6 thou. Both settings done dead cold. Check your rocker side play. No more than 10 thou with swivel feet.

Thanks Mitchy965 for the advice. My pushrods are aluminum so I’ve gone with the .006. I searched around a lot for the info and I had read that on another site so I was happy to get a confirmation.
