So way back in 1985-86 my first job was at the Harewood Co-op gas bar. In those days we sold gas and oil, and little else from a tiny kiosk. Some days were slower than others and could be quite boring. One day my co-worker said I will draw a picture of your Bug if you take care of the customers. Given how slow it was, that seemed a good deal to me. This was the result...
This was basically how my VW looked at the time, although she forgot the exhaust cutouts and muffler! I was happy however and this picture has been hanging on my wall ever since.

That enhancement looks great! The original has probably faded over the years. Just like the real car.... Incidentally the person that drew this was, how do I say, rather gorgeous. Googled her name today and she still lives locally. Still gorgeous too!

Googled her name today and she still lives locally. Still gorgeous too! So she doesn't need any enhancement then? However, I think the real car needs more than just "enhancement" to look gorgeous again It is yearning for a rebuilt GEX engine

PICTUP, is the car still around? GEX engines sound like a good deal, but what if there's an issue, do you have to ship it back? Local mechanics I talk to say to get a local rebuild, that way you can bring it back easily. Then again, these days it's probably not worth the time for the mechanic or the cost for car owner.
