Looking good guys With this what I thought was a "who has the bigger spark" contest, I was led to finally looking up what an MSD is. Ohhh, Multiple Spark Discharge. Sounds complicated. looks complicated. But I learned something today( I hate school, I am so glad the lesson is over with, whew ). I see these two set ups are differently wired. Are there different configurations for easy to understand reasons?

many configs used dependent upon triggers/imputs(dist,crank fire, etc)and outputs(coils, two steps, nos enable, data loggers etc) the seven series can also make welds

I'm not Frank but I do have an MSD story. My Dad has one on his '56 Bel-Air hot rod. One day he decided to do a compression test. Without unplugging the MSD. They don't like that at all...

Trying to sort out the linkage .....than reinstall gas tank. I've got the type 3 CSP linkage which gives full throttle but it needs to be modified heavily to even get to where it needs to be for a type 1. And needs little parts along the way too. Which I really.....really......really dislike when it comes to linkage. The less moving parts the better. May re attatch the hex bar and use that.
