Way back when , I worked at Gough electric in the warehouse. It was all on the same slab and building as the office part of the business , there was an earthquake and stuff was falling off shelves in the office and everyone was bouncing around in their chairs , a big crack formed from floor to ceiling in the cinderblock construction , my co-worker and I in the warehouse end didn't know anything had even happened till the office staff came running to see if we were ok.........and we weren't even sleeping!!! STRANGE!!! Another time I was working in my separate garage , and the girlfriend came running down from the house all freaked out she had just managed to stop the tv from falling off the dresser and everything had been shaking around and I didn't feel a thing!!! WEIRD!!!

Too much beer.
We didn't feel anything either. That said, we were chasing a 2 year around the upstairs of the house, so no surprise really!

The only time I felt an earthquake was when I lived in an apartment in Victoria in the early 90's. I thought some fatty was running down the hall way...
