I went to buy a pile of parts last week and the guy I bought them off also has a flat screen 1973 Beetle shell for sale. There is a body, floorpan, glass and rear end. The body has had the front valance removed and the rear end has been cut away below the rear screen. The doors are rusty at the bottom and it is pretty much stripped - it is not good for much other than a buggy or Baja. But, the floorpan looks quite solid. There is an indentation in one of the rear pans, but it could be pushed out. He is going to scrap it, so you could get it for close to nothing, or perhaps for free. It is on Gabriola.
