Ok, here's the scoop. I need some welding done, and by chance, we have a volunteer to put on a "seminar." VWKarl has offered up his time to show, and teach us some welding skills, in case we are wanting to take on such projects ourselves. We kinda need to set up a day and time so as to meet other people availability, and the sooner the better, as camping season is closing in .................SO ........... Who's In? ............... I'd like a Sunday afternoon type thing myself.

Let me know when. I can do the basics, but struggle with penetration (Ooh matron!) or end up blowing holes through the metal.

No date as of yet I don't think. I have offered my shop, but I need to get another green Bus outta there first. I would be up for a Sunday, but tried to vote as my second choice, but I don't think it registered.

Well, maybe we should think sbout doing this at a later date, with some outside metal. Doesn't seeming to be much intereest, and all my welding is in my cargo bay. Maybe later in the spring a seminar at Dons shop. I'm sure he'll have something to weld by then ....

We have five people who have voted in one form or another - I think that five would be a good number to start with. If there are too many people it makes it difficult to get any hands on time. Welding is something that you need to practice yourself if you want to learn. Just my five cents!

Wow, over five hours of ..... workin', yakin', and gettin' dirty, but we got loads accomplished .... Deal was, I try and replace his wheel cylinders in his backhoe, he'll lend his expertise at welding up my buses rust holes. We're both pretty sore but it made for a good day ... Weird spot for rust .... The typical place ... Workin hard at welding it up .... and I rolled around under this all day .... Fixing this .... In there some where is the wheel cylinder
