Weirrrrrd. I tried all other settings on photibucket, and no posts, just links, then inputs it normal way, and it comes out good .... I dunno

Did you try resizing the pic using photobucket's editing feature?

Otherwise, check your phone resolution settings. I was trying to figure out my dad's phone for him today and I saw that he had it on 8 MB and not a smaller size. If those options exist for you, maybe it would have an impact on your photobucket experience?

So, what I had to do was, take a pic, email it to myself, it asks to resize before sending, send, save to phone, then use photo bucket. It took a few attempts but I found large size worked best. I use an iPhone 5
