Turns out everyone in my family on my mum's side had VWs
My Aunt Patsy and Uncle Gene in Prince George apparently had a Notch. Looks like it was an earlier euro model. I don't remember ever seeing this car and I would hazard a guess I wasn't on this trip. But from what it looks like the family dog was! It would be a few years before my mum would put cigs down for good
