Bay Window Marker Lights

I had one rear marker light on my '74 bus that was working, but the mount was damaged. The 2 screw mounts had sheered off in a neat circle, as they do. Since I couldn't find a replacement in my spares box I decided to get out the JB Weld The shafts for the screws were still alright so I balanced the screws in them lining them up with the backing plate. Then I carefully dabbed some of the JB Weld to join them back on, and it worked! I noticed someone before me had drilled 2 extra holes to screw the backing plate to the van, it makes it more solid. The other side, passenger, just needed a clean and a new bulb. For the first time with my '74 bus, BOTH rear markers are working! And yes, the right side screw holding the lens is wrong...looking for another.

Too true! Thanks, I find good to get out there and fix those small issues, it's kind of like meditation. I don't know why I waited so long

On to the front marker lights, those little 12 volt 4 watt bulbs seem to wear out and turn black over time. Picked up a few new ones for 2 dollars each. They actually do something and make the front of your bus stand out at night from the side. Now the only light that isn't working is the license plate bulb.
