A few years ago, I bought a Super Beetle Vert on a whim.
I was silly.
Progress is being made and I want it to be ready for the spring.
I want to find someone who can safely, reliably and economically lower it. Also, tighten up the front end and eradicate the death wobble.
I want to know which wheels to put on. I like BRM's, I like chrome or silver with black, and of course, Fuchs
I want to find some alternative to the great big rsj's or girders that constitute bumpers.....or maybe bumper delete if it is legal?
I would like some vintage style round driving lamps with yellow lenses to sit just inside the headlamps
I would like to find someone who is great at paint correction. After being sat outside, there is some micro blistering.
Would love a new carpet.
Would love the seats recovered in leather, or maybe some modern leather seats, I like the old Audi TT Baseball Mitt style.
I wonder what could be done cheaply to the engine to get a bit more oooomph.
A nice radio, hidden, under the dash or in the glove box....
I want to try the impossible and make a Super Beetle Vert look cool.
What else can I do to it to achieve this?
It is mid metallic blue with a brand new black fabric hood

For wheels you can't beat OEM Sprintstars. I have a set on my Ghia and they look good on any car. They also bolt straight on. They are not common, but also not stupidly expensive. I bought my spare for $75 a couple of years back.

That's quite the wish list. I cant wait to see it all finished. I too love that Audi TT seat stitching. Looks awesome. Are you planning on buying the gear for the lowering job, or chopping everything up yourself? My advice would be to buy the high end lowering kits. Don't mess around with the CIP crap. If you decided to go with Empi gear, let me know as I have some new stuff I can pass on to you for one heck of a deal.
PEACE! Byron
