Hey folks, I recently returned from a month in the South of France. I rented a house in Aix En Provence where my kid went to school, my wife went to full time language classes, and I explored and walked about 15 kms a day. I'm a history nut, so I spent my time relic hunting in the old roman forests, hitting museums and eating anything and everything I could get my hands on. I had no car, but while there, I did take a few pics. This KG often parked across the street from my house. I was surprised that the owner spoke English fairly well. He learned when he lived in Vancouver. That's also where he bought this car. He shipped if to France when he moved back. It is currently for sale. This thing reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons when Homer is in charge of designing a car. It might be the ugliest car design in history. This thing was 10/10 and perfect. I would have taken more pics but it was in a private driveway. (this car was actually in The Hague) Love these things! This car was actually in the North of France where it rains like crazy. No idea why anyone would want a top like that unless they wanted to be reminded of 1970s motor boats. It was an awesome trip, but I saw far fewer AC VWs than I was expecting. I didn't even see many in the Netherlands. Good times! Byron

That last one must be a Renault JP4. I had a Majorette toy version of one on these as a kid, but never seen one in person. Cool!

That would be a Fiat Multipla. Regularly rated as one of the most ugly car designs in the whole world. Blah.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think so. In 40 years, there will be a a bunch of dudes like us restoring them. B

Check out the old multiplas from the 60's or so , I could definately roll in one of those , some wise guy with computer skills could probably get an image up on the screen in way less than the 60 minutes it would take me!

About 10 years ago I used to see a 50s-60s Multipla driving around Nanaimo.
