Hey, I am looking to talk to one of your members, I believe it is Brent. In 2015 or 2016 I was at your show at Rona and he and I spoke about me selling my Marigold bus (same colour as a school bus or the yellow centreline of the road one must not cross!!) Anyway, I promised I would talk with him first about selling it and unfortuneatly for me, that time has come as opportunities have dropped at my feet that requires capital. So if anyone there can get Brent to reply to this thread, we need to talk.

I will be seeing Brent shortly, and pass on the information to him. I am pretty sure I know which bus is yours, and it is very nice!

Hey Michel Thanks so much for remembering and attempting to give me first dibs as we talked about. Only one problem, I found one, a year and a bit ago. Good luck with your sale. If I hear of anyone, I'll let you know. Brent

Hey thanks a lot guys..glad you found one Brent. I'm not in a big hurry to sell. If time permits I'd like to go down to the show they do in Victoria (VolksFest?) to get it some exposure and the opportunity to set up the original circus style side tent that came with it (maybe somebody there has done it before!). I was told it has only ever been set up twice! I think it may be the fact there are 77 pieces to construct the external frame, which thankfully are colour coded and has what I believe are the original instructions. I've never set it up for the 17 years I've owned this bus and have always wanted to do it. Pretty sure that canvas is still good as I've stored in dry, hopefully moth free area, but there is sure to be so serious creases int it!
Please let me know what that event is called and when it is (early July is the date I recall) an if there is a crew from here attending. Thanks again

Will try to find one. New computer so I do not have one readily available. The bus is in stupendous shape, 138000 miles, never driven in winter, and except for one year, parked in a garage or carport. I've used it for what it was built for, going on camping trips. Been trying to sort out price the last few days and I do not want to post it public. Lots of new parts I've collected over the years, when they became available, such as all German made door seals (only the engine bay and rear door seal are installed), entire rear brakes system (bearings to drums), spare air-fuel meter, fuel pump and probably many I've forgotten. I am willing to show it off to anybody who wants to see it.
How do I post pics when I find them?

Thanks for the info and finding that photo, I was looking for it, just above the shot of the 356 replica that I tried to trade the bus for! For some context on condition 3 out or 4 of the plastic caps for the front bumper bolts are original, or perhaps it a reflection on how well plastic was made 40 years ago! Hope to make it Volksfest, looks like fun
