To start it off I recently picked up a Bay Window Single Cab that has the Kiplaadbak conversion. I real life these tipmaster/dustmaster had a hydraulic tip box and were popular with city councils in Europe because of their agility. This toy version is missing its tailgate and real life the sides would have been able to flip down also. It is cheap, I think Chinese made toy, but rare and in great shape. Some cool features it has are: it's a wind up, the dump box actually raises with a lever, and it has VW symbols in the centre of the hubcap, done pretty well too!

This is another more refined version of a Bay Single in tin, produced by CKO Kellermann in West Germany. As you will see later, the production of these was taken over by Kovap in the Czech Republic. The CKO versions were not to my knowledge ever wind up of any kind. Kovap later supplied a body shell to an o gauge railway manufacturer which I'll show examples of later.
