Is everybody on here ready or at least thinking of getting ready for self quarantine? When you sit down and really think about it, could you live comfortably in your own home for 14 days without leaving? Stan

I might have time to get my some projects finished.

Pretty sure you'd be able to leave your house for the outside. Apparently you just have to stay 2m away from anyone. As for human food, probably not a problem(same goes for pet food)...I'd just revert to eating like a student(rice lots of rice ) and maybe lose some poundage.

My daughter and her whole family recently came back from Japan after being there for 2 weeks. They are now in self quarantine for 2 weeks before they will allow their kids to go back to school or venture out into anywhere there are lots of people. This is critical for our daughter as her profession as a registered nurse is foot care for seniors. It wouldn't do for her to go infecting half of the seniors in the Victoria capital region with something like Covid-19. Duh!
So we've been doing their shopping etc for them. A real eye opener! Costco in Victoria today was a zoo. A shopping cart parking lot in the isles, people grumpy, many opining about "stocking up" etc. A normal one shopping cart full of stuff which would take 30 min on a regular day took 2 1/2 hours today. Ughhhh. I couldn't imagine if there was a much more dangerous health situation, you wouldn't be able to move in there and the shelves would be bare in a couple of days. Got plenty of toilet paper stored away?
Take it from me, having a couple of extra 6 packs of your fav. liquid beverage is a good idea. There's a joke circulating on line about a guy who was interviewed outside a big box store to see if he was stocking up on essentials reported of course he was. His shopping cart had several boxes of condoms and a 10 lb container of coconut oil. I guess everyone has their priorities. Stan
