Sooo, when my family visited Japan several years ago, I couldn't help but notice that there is literally a soft drink vending machine on every corner. And like everything else in Japan, they are clean, work perfectly, and are not vandalized. Anyway one of the few recognizable products sold in these machines was grape Fanta. So naturally that is what I bought, and got one for Victor too. He was about 8 years old at the time, and wasn't too sure about the grape Fanta. Anyway we were on a tour bus trip at the time, and like EVERY other vehicle in Japan, it was absolutely pristine. The key word here being "was"... It seems grape Fanta did not agree with Victor either, and before long it came back up on the bus and unfortunately he missed the barf bag Mom had prepared for him. We were sitting in the very back of the bus, and he heaved up in the isle. Then the driver braked, and a nice purple stain flowed all the way forward past ALL the other passengers. The driver was NOT impressed and would not allow us to get some new clothes out of our bags stored in the lower compartments. Victor still hates Fanta to this day, and likely that bus still has a nasty odour in the back! Blah!

Sad and funny story I loved Grape Fanta. As a kid I would get it at Cheny stadium in Tacoma when my folks had season tickets for the AAA baseball team. I will remember small doses.
