Coming home from work today I went by a cabinet that oozed "patina" so I circled back. I am not generally a patina fan, but this cabinet was neat enough to put on the cargo carrier of the bike and take back to work to hide so I could get it home later in a vehicle. So here it is in all its glory.. Opened metal shelving has to be adjusted somewhat, but I think it will work as shelving once again: The doors were definitely meant to be for something, perhaps even what they are labelled for: The only metallic items in the doors: This was taped to the inside sidewall: And lastly a basically unused book of Valvoline door jamb stickers that has seen better days: I dunno, I thought it was a cool find. If I ever get a garage built, Ill try to incorporate it somehow

That is very cool. If this link works, it might be the very place that cabinet once resided...
Link did not work. Check out 1900 Northfield Road on Google Maps. I always wondered about that old garage... Wonder if there is anything cool still in it???
Also those items are a couple of carburetor jets and a power valve. Possibly Holley carb or Autolite/Motorcraft.

The link did work, I just needed to copy and paste the whole thing into my browser the old school way... For those interested, here it is again: www.google.ca/maps/@49.1923523,-123.9825821,3a,75y,277.67h,82.55t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sUDjtlUa-TibjgZ92FY79TQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en Strange that it is so far off Northfield to be considered a Northfield address. Is there a driveway that leads to it off Northfield, or am I just not looking at the map right? The biggest question in my mind is,"How did it get all the way to Ladysmith and end up at the side of the road at a new industrial building site?"

That garage building is accessed via McGarrigle road. Located in behind the house that is 1900 Northfield. Wonder when it closed down???

I think I remember an old couple living there who sold possibly maple and walnut trees in coffee cans basically taking up most of the driveway in front of the bay doors from about 25 years ago up until 12ish years ago and I don't remember the shop being used during that time.

Should I take the cabinet back and throw it thru the window so you can peer inside?
