To finish the dilemma story, Chris from Victoria contacted me about some NOS parts so we then worked out a deal which involved Mahle pistons and cylinders and AMC heads. The dilemma part was to put them on the engine I am putting together or not. I decided this morning that I would save them for a rebuild involving all new parts not half new. This engine is an emergency backup motor for myself or someone else that may be in a pinch, hence the used parts. I also received many more items, weber carbs, new pressure plate and clutch, pushrod tubes, push rods, and a rebuild gasket kit. Here is some pictures Yes Russ these are going on my bus next year and I will give up my beloved Weber Progressive hahahahaha

Here is the progress from today. The only things left to do is the dizzy gear, set the end play and adjust the valves after the dizzy is in.

You are going to ditch the progressive? I feel so bad about that...
