Our last camping trip this year was up Nanaimo Lakes road. Rob and me were gonna do one last one, but I sold my bus and the new one wasnt quite ready to take on an adventure and that dam winter weather showed up. We headed up mid September knowing we'd probably be a couple of the only people up there. The weather seemed nice enough, and I had three days off, so off we headed. Lucky for us, there was this lil spot, just before the actual campsite, that was right on the river. There was only two spots, so we knew it was gonna be quiet, so we snapped it up. .... ....

After "Chopping Wood, and Carrying Water", we relaxed, ate, and bullshitted till our heart were content, lol. I enjoy the peacefulness, the nothing to do, and the NO noise of being out in the outdoors. Goldberg loves it too. He gets pretty tire, as he's wake all day, and when he's home, he naps a lot. Everything was great ..... till it decided it needed to rain. Hey, whats campin' without a lil rain, right? Well we tried to tough it out, but it finally drove us into our buses ...... only for a short while .... but even then it was a peaceful kind of rain .... ....

It turned out to be a nice few days with only one day with a short 15 minute down pour. On the river, eating by the fire, and just plain relaxing. I can hardly wait to get my new bus out camping, and try out my upper bunk ..... .... ....
