I had quite a conversation today with a guy at cip.ca. I finally got my password change done correctly, their IT guys are having fits about the transfer of data from the "old" system to the "new" system.
Anyway to the warning. I missed out on the sale of the window seals for my '74 and the new price is now $20 or so more but I was told that when the old stock is sold out, the new stock will most likely be double the price. The same is true for many of their products. It's completely a supply chain problem. I've researched this and it's true for many things over the next year or so. That plus buying those window seals now and not installing them till spring is also not recommended due to "shrinkage" on the lower corners.
So if you are contemplating purchasing anything from anyone in the way of VW parts next year, be prepared for sticker shock. Stan

CIP will use any excuse they can to raise prices anyway. Won't be buying any more big purchases from them in the foreseeable future anyway...

RockAuto lists many parts for aircooled VWs. I still order from CIP occasionally, but pretty much everything comes from RockAuto for me.
