The above photo was taken at Ladner in the mid 70's - a friend of mine owned it , drove it across Canada 3 times. I was talking to him over Christmas and he was telling me it was rated at 19 hp. 435 cc ( 2 cyl. air cooled) I did a road trip or two with him back in the day. He said he thinks he sold it to someone in Lions Bay - wished he had it back.

Those cars were all over the UK when I was a kid. Once I had my Beetle and was trolling the scrapyards for parts there were always lots of 2CVs and Moggies (Morris Minors), but rarely any VWs.
They're interesting to follow around corners and through roundabouts. They really lean over!

Remove the cars and that picture looks like it was taken in the 1870's!!! My my thought exactly. I do have vague recollection of feeding the birds out a Reifel Refuge as a kid back in the early 70's. It is a very cool pic, that somehow seems very French...
