It seems like a very long time ago for some reason, but it did happen... So here are few photos...
Brian and Russ in front of "our" line up. Russ brought his T-Bird restoration that was completed with his dad some 30 something years ago. Brian's Bus is of course another Russ and Joe restoration, but now sporting a load of Brian's touches, mostly to the interior.
Even Roadmen liked the stock T-Bird
Somehow my truck ended up by the Cannabis store. Is that typical for a VW? I think kids liked the "Herbie" toy in the back more...
Russ and Brian ogling Russ' favourite car in the show. If he wants, I will let Russ elaborate
It was cool to see some trucks
Low enough for ya?
A nice car, but just a tad low. Perhaps on airbags. Gotta be bit higher to move that hooch
The local Zuiderzee Campsites Ford restored a few years ago. A local favourite
One for Greg. This CR-X probably moves along at quite a clip
Some people find these attractive cars, but not me unless they are done up as when they used to race them. My earliest memories of them are of of the higher ranking NCO's in my Air Cadet Squadron having one. He liked it and he was a good guy, but even back then my heart belonged to VW Buses..
I dunno, after my Iltis left I still like looking at military vehicles, but am doubting I will ever own another. This was cool though.
Oh man, is this van old enough to be a classic?? I am so old!
New or old, which is for you?
Twisty roads, or Binder twine(okay, I know it's not an International, but the reference was to farm trucks)?
Now HERE is an International! All pretty much original apparently except a newer, or repainted, rear fender.
Sprint Falcon, I dunno, I just find it cool
Not all were go-fast
510's are always a favourite to look at
It's the stripe that makes it go fast
Ladysmith's FD. I think they also have some newer vehicles, lol
Always loved this type of colour yellow, reminds me on my Ghia...sniff
Happy Splitty Camper. I think a converted 66-67 Panel(louvers, big back window, back up lights). I know Russ likes those eyebrows...
Odd little Buggy. Looks like fun and I loved the colour choice
Studebaker Commander. Is that correct Terry(Stude)?
The nicely done Woody by Al Brett, Joe Fort's friend
A Grateful Dead follower lusting after Brian's Bus
Two wheelers where welcome too
A stocker Chrysler
More military action in the form of an old Dodge
Red didn't make it fast, but the black fenders made it okay...
Is it because I like dogs that I like dog dish hubcaps?
And the sun set on the show, somehow under Russ' hood.
