Late 50's Hollywood Cop Show: car thief episode

For reasons I won't go into here, I have needed some almost brain-dead stuff to watch instead of just lying awake at night. I stumbled across this early cop show. How times have changed! There is even a VW in this episode at 8:28

Very serious business, these old shows! Reminds me of Dragnet. Or Adam 12. Streets of San Fransisco? Good eye on the beetle. Wonder where that car is now.....
