I cannot emphasize how much work went into creating this second iteration of the Funbugz VW Museum and how disappointing it was to so many when its existence was sabotaged by seemingly uncaring but strangely connected individuals. Reagh and Rob worked so hard to create a fantastic place for all things VW and I thought their work should be honoured by posting this video of the end product of their labour. What happened afterward was tragic in my mind, so I just wanted to thank those two in particular and let them know their work was not in vain...it was great while it lasted and it will be remembered. Cheers!
This is a short video I took. Hopefully we can all find some joy in seeing what once was.

this looks great! what was it? where was it? what happened to it?
And can I have the late 60's/very early 70's burgundy van at the end of the video? Takes me back to my '71. Damn, I miss that camper. What a gem. single carb. Slow and steady. But we never won any race....

That '72 camper bus in the back, was in fact a rare Canadian made Dorper conversion. It was originally restored by myself and my Dad, and the current owner Brian refurbished a lot of the interior for me at the time. He has done a lot more work to it since then. You can read about it here... miacvw.proboards.com/thread/1628/brians-1972-dorper-camperSomewhere on this site is some more pictures, I just have to remember where they are... Found them: miacvw.proboards.com/thread/26/heck-dorperBack from when I owned it... Was a nice bus, but I liked driving my '74 Restfalia more...

this looks great! what was it? where was it? what happened to it? It was great! And it was near Coombs. I kinda eluded to what happened, but for various reasons I cannot go into it....Kind of a long story in local VW lore...I think one probably left to an in-person account. ...my '71. Damn, I miss that camper. What a gem. single carb. Slow and steady. But we never won any race.... It might not seem like you won a race...but really, if you think about it, you did
