An acquaintance I met thru eBay (a few years ago now) who meticulously restores cars and trucks(one example here: blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2015/01/09/rare-1955-dkw-schnellaster-tieflader-36-pickup-heads-to-auction/?refer=news ) sent me this very cool article. I had seen the photos before, but now there is some explanation behind them and a bit on the photographer/modelmaker. A very talented guy with a great artistic expression.

I recognize some of those models as Franklin Mint/Danbury mint products. His composition and background skills are cool.
