My second bus was a 72 I picked up out off Vic. I painted the air flow screen, bumpers and wiper arms yellow, as well as hanging smiley faces air fresheners in every window, and put black electrical tape on the nose in the shape of a smile. That's where I truly found the excitement in owning a T2. It went everywhere. Here's some pics I found lying around The ex's bus and mine... Rattle Snake Point on Kalamalka Lake in Vernon, in the Okanagon .... A pull out somewhere before Tofino ....

Nice feel to those shots, Brent. Taken by someone in love with their Bus and it shows! Was the ex's a 68/69 with a Dorper conversion? Kinda looks like a full length version of Russ' red Bus.

It was a "69". Gutted and no canvas up top. I made an interior for it, and didnt do too bad of a job, considering I didnt know what the inside of a westy looked like
