thanks to my friend bill leung and his influence at the local track i had the opportunity to rent the facilities(16th mile track) for 2hrs for some test and tuning. my other pal terry (the only other driver invited) was there in his new bbc roadster (nasty), which luckily for me used its near 600 cubes to vulcanize the unprepared track. we had a chuckle when i noticed that when added up in inches of width, he has more rubber on one slick than on my entire car! so i waited for him to lay down some sticky rubber for me to follow in.I made a loop or two around the oval to get some temp in the oils and get a feel for the steering and brakes and pulled in to the right lane. any other drag car i have piloted has been equipped with a locking device(line lock) on the front brakes to ease the burn out (even my street car has one)(heh heh) but.... this car has no front brakes! burn outs are managed with a certain caveman finesse,2nd gear,bit o drag on the staging brake,6500rpm and snap the clutch. noticed two things immediately, my boost gauge is inoperative and boost comes on pretty quickly dependent on load!! managed to get enough of a handle on it to make a few to 3rd gear passes and make a list of changes to make,mostly to the suspension,rewire,re gauge and re-plumb it,paint it add some data logging and......you know.... sorry no pictures or video as i was busy but i think my partner Tom got some so ill post em when i can

3:88 final drive. no frank,1st gear start,2nd or 3rd for the burn out(i used 2nd cause im a sissy)

it came up in "movie maker" for me, and was a 7 second vid of nothing.
