At least you can enjoy an ice cold Slurpee while troubleshooting. Given you have one of those automatic thingys, first suspect is the neutral safety switch. Wiggle the shifter around while attempting to crank. If that doesn't work, check those connections at the starter solenoid. Excess resistance will make a lot of heat... Check to see if the ignition switch is supplying power to the small starter terminal. You will need help for this. Maybe Goldberg can crank it for you. If no power is getting to the starter terminal, then the neutral safety, ignition switch, or wiring could be faulty. If it does not start by jumping the small wire terminal to the main battery power at the starter, then your starter is kaput. A hammer tap to the starter casing will often work in this case... Wonder if you can get Margarita Slurpees???

Nailed it again! Let cool for three hours. Went back and tried starting it. Still nothing. Buddy had a jump start wired up with a switch. Climbed under and first checked starter. Yup, spinaroonie. Buddy leans in and turns key and "bam", it starts right up. Climbed in and drove back to his shop. Wire peg connections seemed loose. (heat expansion?) Whatever it is, it's starting. I'll find out tomorrow along the Hope/Princeton Hwy.
