On the '65...the vast majority of metal work is done, has the roof, roof mechanism and popout quarter windows. Needs everything else. I've got it sitting on a mid '70s pan right now but the body mounts haven't been modified to fit, so a '65 pan would be better underneath it. Unfortunately I don't have one. Good project looking for a new home!

Hi Clay. That is quite the vibrant green on the '58, isn't it? That would have been a very distinctive car, but I don't ever remember seeing that one at any show I attended... That looks to have been the recipient of a lot of modifications in the past. I am sure it would be a good basis for a modified car. I am hoping to find one to restore to original so for me it would make sense to start with one that has not been altered too much. I really need to get a move on with the cars I currently have anyway! People always ask me how many I have, and if you have to think hard to get an answer, than you probably have too many...
I did pass along your card to Terry last night. He did mention that the Beverly Corners show almost always clashes with one of his back east road trips. He said he would contact you anyway...

I'm not sure that I remember seeing it in it's heyday either, I'm going to have to look back into some of my old photos to see if it appears anywhere. It would have stood out, for sure. I haven't had a real close look at it yet, but from a cursory glance I think the biggest modification is the one piece windows. It probably wouldn't take much to restore as a stock car but it's also a great base for someone wanting to build a resto-custom or full on custom. Hopefully I'll get to spend some quality time with it and the '65 this weekend to assess their virtues and take some better photos for ads.
Thanks for passing that on to Terry, pity about the conflict. I'll look forward to hearing from him regardless and maybe get him down to one of our regular cruise nights.
