 This was one of mine I drove it for years gave it away got it back drove it a bunch more then silly me wrecked it I had it for 20 years drove it from Sooke to Victoria everyday for 5 years at this point it had been sitting in Sooke for 3 years behind the barn I was able to start it and drive it onto a trailer it was my the first total vw motor rebuild a 1961 standard 36hp I still have the motor and lots of the parts. Haven't you rescued that poor Beetle yet??? Working on it...deal was made, just have to fulfill my end of the agreement. Then extract it from the forest that grew up around it. I'm not too optimistic on it's solidness. |
