I have had a quick look…what a lot of info! The only thing that worries me about insulating a metal surface so seemingly permanent is the potential for moisture somehow making its way under the coating. If powder coating can fail as Volktales has shown us, why not this stuff? Then try welding a new piece in I know, I know, I am probably being paranoid and moisture will probably not get in, but I kinda like that these vehicles can be completely taken apart and fixed without superhuman strength, nor patience, to remove a coating. I have seen "permanent coatings" in boats fail, which granted is a harsh relentless environment, but the coatings were touted as never-fail. Of course all this is moot when considering the coatings will probably last the vehicle owner's life…and after that, so what?…can't worry when pushing up daisies

There's no way I would use that fiberglass insulation in any vehicle of mine. It is designed for use in the wall cavities of houses, which if your house is worth having, should be dry. Stuffing it into doors and other apertures in your vehicle that may get some dampness in them will inevitably lead to rust. It holds water. Bad idea.
