If you have something you need to have done on your van, ask about it here first and you will most likely save yourself a lot of money. Knowledge is power

Quality sometimes is an issue, but it gives us all something to complain about instead of the rain . You can post in the Classifieds here for parts needed, plus here www.airspeedparts.com/forums/ (on the mainland) and here www.vvwc.ca (in Victoria). Chris, who has the username bow-wow on the Victoria site and bobloblaw here, is also a good source. There is lots of knowledge floating about and the best way to really see what we do here or any other site is to join and become active i.e. posting pics (see miacvw.proboards.com/thread/62/post-big-juicy-pictures-photobucket ) and asking questions (perhaps in your own thread here miacvw.proboards.com/board/1/type-2-vw-builds ). I like working on Buses and have been fortunate to have had working relationship with some folks here. C'mon down to one of our meetings. If you are registered I try to send out a reminder to all members the night before and most times Volktales and/or Brenticon keeps this thread updated when the time is drawing near: miacvw.proboards.com/thread/122/nanaimo-area-gatherings?page=22Cheers, Don

Hey all, not sure if this forum still up as the last posts are a few years back already... anyhow... my wife and I purchased a 1972 bus from a guy in Duncan and are now in the process of getting it road ready.
Great to see such forum exist. Cheers, Sacha
