VVWC Winter Valve cover race: Feb. 21st 2016

As some of you guys know, The Victoria Volkswagen Club has a valve cover track which we are getting going again. We will have it at our show this year and we are also doing a winter get together/valve cover race. It would be great to see some Mid islanders make some racers and come down for it! But I understand it can be a bit of a drive.


When: Sunday February 21st 2016 2:30pm



What: Winter Valve cover race. I'll have the clubs valve cover track set up (maybe inside maybe outside depending on weather) some test and tune time, and we will set up a tournament style race



Where: My place, if you don`t know where it is you can ask me (on the Saanich Peninsula)

rules are subject to change but so far look like this:


-each car must have a minimum of 4 wheels

-max overall height 7"

-each car shall not exceed 3 lbs.

-the overall length shall not exceed 22"

- nothing shall protrude infront of the valve cover body

-the overall width must not exceed 8"

-the valve cover must have 1/2"-2" clearance (ride hieght)

-valve cover used must be designed for a vw (stock of aftermarket)

-only dry lubricant can be used and must not dirty the track

-the car must be freewheeling (no motors, engines, or any other means on propultion)

-car must be clean
