Wish I could have made it, but I was totally tied up organizing a local show. Turns out it was probably a good thing, my '57 had to be pushed into the show after going totally dead on me less than a kilometre from the house. Good thing it was downhill to the show!

I've been trying to post some photo's to the site from my Google photo account. I selected the photo in the Google account, selected the share button and then "create link". I then copied the link and pasted it into the URL line in the "insert image" icon on our site. For some reason, this is what I get: The above should be an image of my car. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I am going wrong? I am posting from my laptop. Have you investigated Photobucket? Might seem like a little hassle, but the rest of us would really appreciate it

As good as Photobucket is, in my opinion they tend to ruin it with pop-ups. Post Image is a decent alternative which is where these pics of Don's single cabs and Russ's Dorper are hosted. There are options, the 1st pics is no hotlink, the second takes you to the gallery. postimg.org/image/"Direct link:""Hotlink for forums:"

It used to be that I would say I don't get them because I use a Mac. Not anymore. They are limited, but they are quite annoying! I wonder how long until Post Image starts running many ads that it interferes with what you are actually trying to do on their site. I also wonder if paying for Photobucket ad deletion would result in a more user friendly site. I think you have looked into this Russ….. Did you ever manage to make any progress?

Might seem like a little hassle, but the rest of us would really appreciate it I had a PB account, but found it filled up really fast. I'm not big on paying monthly fees to store my photos, as I'd rather put the cash into my cars. I thought that the Google account was the answer until I tried posting photos. Now I just need a spare hour to sit with the computer and sort it out. It will be a little while though because I've just discovered that there are only 24 hours in a day...😐
