Awesome Brent, more details please! Where did it come from, year etc. Remember that dreary banner of Tony's yard? The title gives a hint to the year Good solid base to build your dream Bus Brent(I vote going green and white). Glad to see it out of hibernation.

So ya, I bought Tony's old bus. It's a 78 Riviera pop top. My whole idea when gettting back on this bus journey was to find a solid, rust free bus. I was kinda jealous when Tony found this, just prior to me finding my green Westy.. When I started having issues with mine, I started bugging Tony. Thanks Tony for helping me achieve my dream ! It came with paper work back to 1980. It has 110k original miles, everything is tight, runs like a top, and is perfect for what I want. It's a Seattle bus that moved north to Parksville in 06. Great documentation of service records. A well taken care of bus. Looking forward to making it mine

Brent, congratulations on finding your dream bus, she looks like a champ. I've only got one question..... Does it have a working gas gauge? Stan

Firstly, yes, the green Auto is/was my dream bus. There's something about a green bus I like, and my previous auto was great to cross Canada in. Turns out though, if your stuck, it's pretty hard to push start an auto ...... and last summer I recalled the issues I had on my continental crossing. Secondly, my dream vehicle is one that has low mileage and is rust free. I hate and don't want to tempt body work. Cutting rust, welding patches, etc etc isn't my cup of tea. Thirdly, no it doesn't have a gas gauge. Well, it does work in the top quarter, but after that it goes straight to empty. I will definately he attempting to fix that soon.

Gas gauges can be fixed. Cutting that hole in your bus to access the sender sucks however...

Gas gauges can be fixed. Cutting that hole in your bus to access the sender sucks however... Been there done that, you just can't cut too deep. No .... I didn't I was just worried that I might. It was in my last bus and it turned out to be a great way to get at that upper gas tank access hole. I used a bigger piece than I cut out that I got from a donor bus in a scrap yard in Cranbrook, and using a cork gasket just screwed it on over the hole I cut. Stan
