Don Earnshaw has sent me the list of Car Shows/Cruise Ins for this year. Since we now have a decided time for ours, i.e. the Sunday after Labour Day, should I email him the info? Is everyone still on board for carrying the tradition along? I figure you all are, but I thought I'd ask here for the sake of inclusivity cdnclassicchevellesbeaumonts.ca/docs/CarShowCalendar.pdf

Sure. You just don't want us all calling you an imdp, or some other similar acronym.

You want to get on the calendar sooner rather than later, and make sure he adds you to his mailing list. He contacts event coords in December and again a couple weeks ago for input to the next calendar. The obvious benefit of getting your event publicized there early is clear and cancelling/removing/changing the event just takes an email to him.

Actually Don is the IFDP. The first part is "Iron-Fisted". Can't really say what the "DP" stands for or it might offend someone...

I'm not sure how it fits with "Iron-Fisted" but I'd rather go with what Tony says it stands for.... PS Turns out my license plate starts with DP...go figure....
